Case of SLE, Nifedipine induced Gingival Enlargement!
The day was long! The second day with the so called juniors! They spread all o'er the dept.
From mornin, was busy with one case... as follows
Pt named Ms. Ramadevi of age 21 suffers from SLE and Nephritis. She has hypertension for which she is taking Nifedipine.For past six months she developed Gingival enlargement all over her mouth which has become painful now.
I took a complete case sheet, an alginate impression, and loads of photographs in Doc Mohan's cam.
Did a complete supragingival scaling, pt had a lot of bleeding though.
A long day thus came to an end!
P.S : Gingival enlargement just enlarged my working time!
